Caitlin Clark fans are fed up.

The Indiana Fever third-year guard took another big, dirty hit in a WNBA game on Wednesday night. Clark was on the receiving end of a hit to the groin and the neck by Phoenix Mercury veteran forward Alyssa Thomas. Video of the incident quickly went viral. Neither hit was called a foul by the referees. Later in the game, Clark departed, suffering an apparent back injury.

Fever head coach Stephanie White is fed up, too.

"We have a generational talent, and a WNBA superstar, who had two cheap shots that weren't called ... Absolutely unacceptable," White told reporters.

"She is not called the same way everybody else is called."

Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of Iowa, has brought millions of new fans to the league. She's at least partially to thank for an increase in WNBA salaries and player treatment throughout the league.

But it's clear that at least some within the WNBA are jealous of the attention she gets - and it shows with how physically she is defended and how poorly she is officiated at times.

Some of Clark's fans are now urging her to leave the WNBA and show them what they are really missing.

Clark's fans are fed up, wanting her to leave the WNBA to send a message.

"I really hope this is a turning point for Caitlin. Leave this league. They hate you they want you dead," one fan claimed.

"If Caitlin Clark leaves the @WNBA , the fans will leave with her. Her health and safety are more important than playing for a league that refuses to protect all players. Players should not be assaulted on the court. Either the league is trying to get rid of Caitlin Clark or the refs are on the take; clearly, they are not calling fouls. What if it had crushed her windpipe or worse, she had died on the court?" one fan added.

"I’d like to see Caitlin walk away with the bag," one fan added.

"Caitlin needs to leave," one fan added.

To add insult to injury, the Phoenix Mercury appear to be mocking the dirty hit on social media, as well.

It's a disastrous situation all around.
