Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark didn’t disappoint as the celebrity guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay.”
Clark was unveiled as the Week 5 guest picker for “College GameDay” on Friday night. It’s quite a get for the show, especially since they previewed a showdown between No. 5 Ohio State and No. 14 Iowa.
While the crowd certainly embraced Clark when she first joined Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee and the rest of the “College GameDay” crew, it didn’t take long for her to be treated like a normal analyst.

When asked to make her prediction for Saturday’s game between West Virginia and Iowa State, the former No. 1 pick revealed she’s rolling with the Cyclones. That pick didn’t sit well with the crowd outside the Pentacrest.
Clark, however, wasn’t fazed by the boos. In fact, she immediately defended her decision.
“I’m taking Iowa State. I said I want to get 100% accuracy,” Clark said. “You can boo me, I’ll make you happy at the end.”
Iowa fans returned the favor later in the show.
Clark wasn’t kidding about firing up the Iowa crowd later in this segment. She received a huge ovation after picking Iowa to upset Ohio State this Saturday.
“We’re gonna have Julian Sayin rattled today,” Clark said on ESPN.
It’s not really a huge surprise that Clark, who made the Final Four twice with the Hawkeyes, is backing their alma mater this weekend.
