Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever has been having a great year, but she didn’t have the best of showings on Saturday.
The Fever fell to the Liberty, 109-102, on Saturday evening. Clark had 21 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds, but she made some key mistakes late. Fever head coach Stephanie White wasn’t happy, subbing her out in key moments.
Clark, who had two key turnovers and four missed 3-point attempts, expressed her frustration on the floor. However, as some fans criticized her head coach, Stephanie White, former ESPN and Fox Sports 1 personality Jason Whitlock made it clear that he felt that it’s Clark’s fault.

Whitlock says that Clark won’t be the MVP of the league until she “grows up” and takes control of her emotions.
“Can’t wait to see how Mick, Venom, Robin and the cult blame this on Stephanie White, Kelsey, and Aliyah. …… Caitlin will be MVP when she grows up and takes control of her emotions,” he shared on X.

“CC missed shots but they were in position. Aliyah missed shots she forced out of position when there were other players open. One is just the law of averages the other is selfish decision making. As for SW, she will never choose winning over her agenda. Thats obvious now,” one fan wrote.
“Not against Kelsey or Aliyah, I am against Steph white when she changes the whole offense after fever were on a 5 game heater and then lose one game to Dallas and everything changes. Why is CC playing the whole game off ball??? Makes no sense,” one fan added.

“Are Yall not watching? Almost every time CC is complaining to the refs it’s because she was very obviously fouled. No other player has a worse whistle both directions. CC is partially responsible for the loss but so are Aliyah and Steph White,” one fan added.
