Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is one of the most talented players in the WNBA today. She has captivated fans with her elite skill set since entering the league in 2024. However, she took on an unexpected new role ahead of the Fever’s game on Thursday against the Minnesota Lynx.
The three-time All-Star held a camera, pretending to be the camerawoman on the baseline during the team’s shootaround. USA Network aired the clip during Thursday night’s broadcast, and one commentator jokingly asked Clark to “let someone else have a job.”
In the clip, Clark is seen holding up the camera as teammate Kelsey Mitchell posed. Lexie Hull, though, was having none of it.
Clark and the Fever looked relaxed and loose before tipoff. However, the game turned into a blowout as the Lynx dominated in an 86-66 victory. The 24-year-old struggled from the field, shooting 1-of-12, including 0-of-7 from beyond the arc. She finished with just two points, four rebounds and three assists.
Only Kelsey Mitchell scored in double figures for Indiana with 10. Grace VanSlooten contributed nine points, while Bree Hall chipped in eight points and five rebounds.
Indiana lost two of its last three games after previously winning eight of 10. The Fever will now turn their focus to the playoffs, entering as the No. 6 seed.
They face a massive challenge in the first round against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. A’ja Wilson and Co. locked in the No. 3 seed and will have home-court advantage. Clark and Co. are 2-1 against them this season.
