U.S. lawmakers fed up with the state of WNBA should've tuned into Sunday night's game.
The Indiana Fever took on the Las Vegas Aces in a huge regular season showdown. Indiana topped Las Vegas, 109-75, in blowout fashion. The Fever, led by Caitlin Clark, improved to 14-9 on the season, while the Aces dropped to 17-7 on the year.
Clark scored 12 points, dished out six assists and grabbed seven rebounds. Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell had a huge night, scoring 27 points while Sophie Cunningham added 20 points of her own.
WNBA fan and media analyst Richard Deitsch put U.S. Congress "on notice" heading into the regular season game.
He hopes they were watching.
"For those in Congress who just became @WNBA fans this month: There's a really good game tonight on NBC — Fever at Aces. A'Ja Wilson is averaging a league leading 25.8 PPG. Kelsey Mitchell is averaging 22.5. Caitlin Clark at 20.5. Aliyah Boston at 17.3. That's four of the Top 12 scorers in the league. Enjoy!" he wrote.

U.S. lawmakers sent an official letter to the WNBA regarding treatment of Caitlin Clark, calling for action.
"Unfortunately, what they too often witness is not simply aggressive competition, but repeated acts of unnecessary physical hostility and violence," the lawmakers wrote in a letter, led by U.S. Rep. August Pfluger, the chairman of the Republican Study Committee.
"Clark has been hip-checked, poked in the eye, and struck in the throat during games," the letter stated. "These incidents go far beyond routine physical play, yet the WNBA and its officiating have too often failed to address these unacceptable incidents and hold players accountable."
The WNBA might have some issues, but it delivered in a big way on Sunday night.
