Caitlin Clark is coming off a gold medal-winning run with Team USA at the FIBA Women’s World Cup. The Indiana Fever star finished the tournament with 7.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game, ranking third in the tournament in assists. She also scored 12 points in the 97-79 win over France in Sunday’s final, including two three-pointers.
But Clark still has work to do with the Fever when she returns to WNBA action. Indiana has already secured a playoff spot, putting Clark and her teammates in position to secure homecourt advantage when the regular season resumes.
The three-time All-Star is also preparing for a major business milestone. Clark is getting ready to launch her first signature basketball shoe with Nike.

Nike announced Monday that the Nike Caitlin 1 will officially arrive on October 1 through a promotional video posted on X.
Clark reacted to the announcement with a short message to her fans: “We are very close 😏”
The shoe will be released globally through Nike.com and select retailers alongside an 18-piece apparel collection. The Caitlin 1 was designed around three performance goals Clark challenged Nike’s designers to address: a quicker first step, a faster step-back and a faster shot release.
It features Nike’s Opticast upper, a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit and full-length Cushlon cushioning, with “CC” and “22” details incorporated into the design. The shoe will retail for $140 in North America, marking the official beginning of Clark’s Nike signature collection.
