Indiana Fever stars Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston helped Team USA defeat France in the FIBA World Cup final. It was the Americans’ fifth straight title in the competition and 12th overall.
Clark finished with 12 points, one rebound and three assists in the 97-79 victory. Meanwhile, Boston added seven points, one rebound, one assist and one block, all while tallying the best plus-minus rating on the team at +16 — tied with Kahleah Copper.
Across six games in the tournament, Clark averaged 7.8 points and a team-high 5.3 assists, while Boston put up 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds.
After Team USA’s championship, Boston naturally celebrated. In a post on social media, she shared several photos of herself and her USA teammates showing off their trophy and gold medals, alongside some in-game pictures.

“WORLD CHAMPION,” Boston wrote. “God is great all the time!”
Clark, for her part, made sure to celebrate with Boston by commenting on her post. She had a simple one-word message that highlighted how hyped she is.
“Champpppp,” Clark wrote.
The Fever teammates are certainly delighted to win the World Cup title together with Team USA. In fact, Boston also commented on Clark’s celebratory post and said that “winning gold together” makes it so much better.
The two All-Stars, along with head coach Stephanie White, now return to the Fever as world champions. Sure enough, hopes are high that the experience they just had with the national team will help elevate Indiana in its bid to win the WNBA title.
