The Indiana Fever’s WNBA playoff run ended in disappointment after losing to the Las Vegas Aces in the first round. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and the rest of the team did put up a fight and extended the series to a full three games, but in the end, they couldn’t find a way to slow down A’ja Wilson and the deep Las Vegas roster.
Wilson exploded for 36 points and 10 rebounds in the Aces’ 94-83 win in the deciding Game 3. Chelsea Gray, for her part, added 23 points, four rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana in scoring with 23 points. Boston tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds. Clark, for her part, had an all-around performance of 18 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks.
Despite the unfortunate turn of events for the Fever, Boston was still appreciative of the season she had with the team.
Days after their postseason exit, Boston shared a message on social media highlighting how thankful she was for what she and the team had accomplished during the 2026 season.

“year 4 [check],” Boston wrote, along with several photos of herself and her teammates from throughout the season. “in all things I give thanks!”
Several Fever players commented on Boston’s post to show their love for her, including Clark.
Clark had a short but clear message for her superstar teammate, saying, “Proud of u!”
Despite the outside noise surrounding the team, it’s clear that the Fever players remain supportive of each other.
It will be interesting to see what Indiana does next as it tries to improve the roster and build a title contender. Whatever the case may be, Clark and the rest of the team are maintaining an optimistic outlook.
