Caitlin Clark turned in another incredible performance on Sunday night, leading the Indiana Fever to a 113-90 blowout win over the Chicago Sky.
The Fever were in dire need of a win after losing two in a row. Clark was well aware of her team’s situation, and she responded with a career performance. The three-time All-Star went off for a game-high 37 points on 13-of-24 shooting. Clark also added three rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and a career-high eight triples in 32 minutes of action.
Clark spoke to NBC Sports’ Ashley ShahAhmadi right after the final buzzer. When asked when she knew it was going to be a big night for her, the 6-foot guard revealed her conversation with head coach Stephanie White pregame.
“Before the game started,” Clark said. “You can ask Coach Steph. I said it’s going to be one of those nights.”
“I think I just got some really good sleep at the hotel last night from 3:00 a.m. to about 11:00 a.m.,” she added. “So I got nice hours, woke up, watched a film, went through the scout and came and played.”

It was a historic night for Clark. Apart from knocking down a career-best eight three-pointers, the 24-year-old also notched her fifth game with 30+ points and 10+ assists. She now has more 30-10 games than the rest of the WNBA has combined in league history (4).
Clark will want to keep her foot on the gas for their next game. The Fever return to action on Friday for a home matchup against the Connecticut Sun.
