Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark once again helped Team USA win in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, as they took down Czechia 105-64 in their final group-stage game.
Clark finished with nine points on 3-of-8 shooting, along with seven assists. She had the second-best efficiency rating on the team at +22, behind only Paige Bueckers’ +27 after the Dallas Wings guard tallied 10 points and five assists.
As a result, Team USA finished the group stage with a perfect 3-0 record. The squad is now through to the quarterfinals after topping Group D.
Following the win, Clark was asked what it’s like playing with a Team USA roster brimming with offensive talent. The Fever playmaker leads the team in assists with 6.3 per game, and she has certainly benefited from playing alongside a group of players that can all score at a high level.

Clark admitted that it’s “fun,” but she also acknowledged that deciding who to pass the ball to is challenging because she knows everybody on the team can score.
“Yeah, I mean, you’ve got to get to play with so many talented players. That’s what makes it fun. Sometimes, it’s hard to decide who to pass to because everybody’s so talented, and everybody’s able to create their own shot,” Clark shared.
Clark also shared that “it’s fun to get to play in transition with these players,” especially since she has seen it work for Team USA.
According to Clark, Team USA will only get even better as it continues to utilize its elite playmaking in transition.
“I think that can really help us going forward: getting out, running in transition, kicking the ball ahead. So, just try to find everybody. Set them up for easy baskets,” Clark added.
