Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are coming off an 83-71 win over Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream to earn their first victory in the 2026 WNBA Commissioner's Cup. The reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month, Allisha Gray, tied teammate Jordin Canada for an Atlanta team-high 13 points. Angel Reese led the Dream in rebounds with 10.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with a game-high 25 points. Superstar guard Caitlin Clark tied teammate Aliyah Boston for a team-high seven rebounds. Clark also contributed 17 points and a game-high eight assists. The points and assists are more than just a trend for the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year; they are turning into records.

After the game, Clark Report on the social media website X posted that Clark accomplished the feat of tying herself in being the fastest player to reach 150+ points and 50+ assists in a season in WNBA history. The 6-foot-0 do-it-all guard is averaging 19.8 points, 8.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 4.4 rebounds per game this campaign.
The Dowling Catholic High School graduate had 164 points and 68 asssists in her first eight games of 2024 to originally set the record, and produced 158 points and 65 assists to tie her own record in 2026. The is averaging 19.8 points per game,
The win over the Dream was the eighth game Clark has played in this season for Indiana. In those eight games, she tied herself in becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 150+ points and 50+ assists in a season. Clark matched the record from her rookie year (2024) in accomplishing this feat.
Clark and the Fever will next face the New York Liberty at the Barclays center on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
