Caitlin Clark is back with the Indiana Fever after helping Team USA win the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, but she is already giving her teammates another reason to celebrate.
Clark returned to Indiana following the tournament in Berlin, where Team USA defeated France 97-79 in the final to claim their fifth consecutive gold medal. She will look to replicate that success with the Fever during the final stretch of the WNBA season, with the playoffs already approaching.
Clark also has a major milestone approaching off the court. Her Nike Caitlin 1 signature shoe is set to launch globally on Oct. 1.

On Wednesday, the three-time All-Star gave her Fever teammates an early gift as the release draws closer.
She shared a clip on her Instagram Story showing the shoes she gave to her teammates, giving them an early opportunity to get their hands on her first signature sneaker.
The Caitlin 1 is Clark’s first signature shoe with Nike and features an Opticast upper, a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit and Cushlon foam. The collection also includes apparel and carries several personal details connected to Clark, including her initials, jersey number and signature logo.
Clark has previously gifted pairs of her player-exclusive shoes to WNBA players, including Fever teammate Tyasha Harris, who showed off her haul on Instagram. The latest gesture comes as Clark’s signature shoe rollout enters its final weeks before the October 1 release.
The Fever will soon have Clark back on the court as well. Indiana is scheduled to resume its WNBA season against the Toronto Tempo on Friday, with the team looking to finish the regular season strongly after the World Cup break.
