The Indiana Fever reached a new milestone after Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell were voted as starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game. According to the team, it's the first time in franchise history that three players were selected as starters for the event.
All three were certainly deserving of the honor. Clark is third in the league in scoring (21.2) and second in assists (8.2). Mitchell, for her part, ranks second in scoring (21.6).
Boston, meanwhile, remains one of the best young bigs in the league. She's averaging 17.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. She's ninth in the WNBA in rebounds and 10th in blocks.
Now, as the three prepare for the All-Star Game in Chicago on July 25, Clark really hopes that she, Boston and Mitchell will be on the same team.

Caitlin Clark Makes All-Star Request
In previous All-Star Games, the two players with the highest number of votes, regardless of conference, were named All-Star captains and received the right to draft their respective teams from the All-Star pool.
For the 2026 season, however, there will be no All-Star captains. Instead, the WNBA chose two league legends to serve as honorary general managers and draft the All-Star teams. Hall of Famers Teresa Weatherspoon and Cynthia Cooper will serve as honorary GMs.
With that being said, Clark sent a message to the two in a bid to convince them to keep the Fever teammates together, even in the All-Star Game.
"Whoever is drafting, if you want to keep us on the same side, we'd appreciate that," Clark told reporters on Friday, per Joshua Heron and Brian Haenchen of the Indianapolis Star.
For what it's worth, Clark acknowledged that the chances of her wish coming true are not that high.
"My first two years, we were all on the same team, so this might be the first time we get split up. If it were our choice, we'd all be on the same team," Clark added. "We were discussing [it], and I said I'm probably gonna be the one left out to dry by myself, and they'll be on the same team. But we'll see how it turns out."
The All-Star Game reserves will be announced on July 7. As for the final All-Star teams constructed by Weatherspoon and Cooper, further details will be revealed at a later date.
