Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin reacted to a recent Instagram post by their former teammate, Jada Gyamfi. The trio played together for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2022 to 2024 before both Clark and Martin entered the WNBA Draft.
Gyamfi uploaded a carousel of photos on the social media platform on Sunday. She shared some snaps from her recent trip to Chicago.
“always a pleasure windy city 🩶,” Gyamfi captioned her post.
Clark and Martin shared their reactions in the comments section. They sent a clear message to Gyamfi by complimenting her appearance.
“Ur smokin hot,” Clark wrote.
“Pretty chica,” Martin said.

Gyamfi announced her retirement after four seasons with the Hawkeyes via an Instagram post in March. Clark called for the school to retire the forward’s jersey number.
Iowa retired Clark’s jersey on Feb. 2, 2025. She led the program to back-to-back national championship game appearances, with Iowa finishing runner-up in both seasons. She also holds the all-time NCAA Division I scoring record with 3,951 points.
Clark became the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and has since established herself as one of the league’s biggest stars.
Martin, on the other hand, was the No. 18 overall pick in the second round of the same draft. She has bounced around the WNBA, suiting up for four different franchises. The 26-year-old signed a developmental contract with the Chicago Sky on Sept. 2.
Martin is set to enter free agency in the offseason.
