Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever went 5-1 in the 2026 WNBA Commissioner's Cup. They took down the Toronto Tempo, 113-91, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday to close the tournament in style.
Unfortunately, they failed to qualify for the championship game, with the New York Liberty advancing as the Eastern Conference's representative. That meant the Fever wouldn't be able to defend their title after winning the Cup last season.
Indiana's lone loss in the Commissioner's Cup came against the Liberty. With New York securing a 5-0 record after beating the Washington Mystics on Sunday, the Liberty were assured a ticket to the title game.
Still, the Fever got something positive from their incredible run in the tournament. By winning five games and losing just once, they earned a total of $16,000 for their chosen community organization.

WNBA Commissioner's Cup Community Impact
For those unaware, the WNBA Commissioner's Cup has a charitable aspect in which each win earns $3,000 for the chosen local organization of a team. In the event of a loss, teams still earn $1,000 for their charities.
While the Fever missed out on the $10,000 donation for the winner of the championship game or $5,000 for the runner-up, earning $16,000 is still a positive outcome overall.
The money the Fever earned will go to Coburn Place, a nonprofit organization that helps survivors of domestic violence and their children.
"For more than a decade, the Fever have supported Coburn Place, which offers compassionate support and safe housing choices to survivors of domestic violence and their children in the Greater Indianapolis area," a WNBA statement said regarding the Fever's selection of the organization.
