Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is undeniably one of the best players in women's basketball today. In her two years in the WNBA so far, she has averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
This offseason, Clark also made her senior debut for Team USA, helping them sweep the FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Fever guard was even named tournament MVP after averaging 11.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and a team-best 6.4 assists.
With that said, Clark's comments and opinions on anything related to basketball carry a lot of weight.

Recently, the Fever guard dropped the ultimate praise for an athletic trainer of the Indiana Pacers after the NBA put the spotlight on the staff member.
In a post on Instagram, the NBA highlighted Ayami Sato's story and her journey to becoming an athletic trainer for the Pacers.
According to Sato, many people doubted her and whether she could make it in the career she chose. Instead of listening to the naysayers, she believed in herself, eventually becoming a "very valuable" part of the Pacers.
"I was told I can't do this so many times," Sato shared in the video posted by the NBA. "Maybe let's try, and then I tried."
Clark, for her part, reacted to the post with one simple but powerful comment.
"GOAT," Clark wrote, which stands for "Greatest of All Time."
For what it's worth, it's not only Clark who shares that opinion of Sato. Even Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton commented a "goat" emoji to share the same message, while his fiancée Jade Jones said that "she is the best."
Aside from being an assistant athletic trainer for the Pacers, Sato is also a physical therapist and the sports medicine administrator for the team. She joined the franchise in 2023.
