Caitlin Clark wasn’t exactly feeling great at times Tuesday night, but she still carried the Indiana Fever to a playoff win over the Las Vegas Aces.
The Fever knew they needed a huge performance from Clark in Game 2. After all, a loss would end their 2026 season. Luckily for head coach Stephanie White, her All-Star point guard was up for the challenge. Clark finished Game 2 with 27 points and a career-high 15 assists. She’s the first player in WNBA history to record at least 25 points and 15 assists in a game.
Even though Clark was dominant against the Aces, she admit that she threw up at halftime due to fatigue.
“To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime,” Clark said postgame, via OutKick. “I was just out there so tired. It wasn’t because I didn’t feel good or anything. I just was that gassed.”
Despite being under the weather at times, Clark gave the Fever everything she had.
“I thought her energy [was great] from start to finish,” White said. “I mean, a double-double in the first half, pretty incredible. The way that she moved the ball and attacked from multiple positions. You always expect her to be able to make shots and to facilitate. But I thought how she managed the game was really good. And her defensive energy I thought was terrific.”

All eyes on Game 3.
The Aces and Fever will wrap up their first-round series this Thursday night with a highly-anticipated Game 3 in Las Vegas.
A win on Thursday night would undoubtedly be the biggest of Clark’s WNBA career so far. On the flip side, the Aces have been in this spot before. They’ve won three out of the last four championships, so Wilson and the rest of the starting five probably won’t show many nerves at tipoff.
Game 3 will be televised on USA Network at 9 p.m. ET.
