Caitlin Clark might be away from the court right now but she is still making headlines with her public appearances. Earlier this month, the Indiana Fever guard made her senior national team debut for the United States during the Women's World Cup qualifying tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
After her return to action, following nearly eight months of recovery from the injuries, she made a statement with an outstanding performance for Team USA. Clark emerged as the tournament's MVP. She averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists per game during the campaign.
Now the time is approaching fast for the 30th WNBA season and fans are looking forward to seeing Clark back in her iconic No.22 jersey for the Fever. Thankfully, the W won't see any delay as the new CBA deal has been reached after months of negotiations between the players' association and the league.
Last week, it was agreed upon verbally between the players' union and the league. On March 24, the terms of the new agreement were officially ratified by WNBA's Board of Governors. It's a huge moment for all players in the W, including Clark who recently expressed her honest thoughts on women's sports while commenting on the successful CBA deal.

On Tuesday, Caitlin Clark was present in Miami for Uber's Women Change the Game event where she sat down for a Q&A session. When asked about the true potential of women's sports in the future, she said, "I think going forward, it's hard to say where women's sports specifically is going to be because a lot of people like never thought that it could get to this moment that we're in. But I truly think this is just the beginning."
She continued, "I don't think it's just women's sports. I think it's the way women are valued across the world and what we can bring to the table. And you know, I've had a lot of women that have impacted me over the course of my life. So, I'm really excited to see where things go."
She then made a comment while referring to the recently completed CBA deal for WNBA players. Expressing her happiness Clark concluded, "I think this is going to be a really special year. We just signed a new CBA in the W." The response was met with a huge applause from the crowd.
When it comes to the new CBA agreement, Clark is set to witness a huge salary jump. Last season, she made $78,066 in the W but after the new collective bargaining agreement coming into effect, the Fever guard is expected to earn $530,000 in 2026.
As for her return to action, Clark will be seen playing her third WNBA season for the Fever in over a month. She and the squad will start the campaign on May 9 against the Dallas Wings.
