Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are not playing in the 2026 WNBA Finals. The Fever fell to the Las Vegas Aces in the first round of the WNBA Playoffs. However, Clark still has a presence during the final series of the WNBA postseason.
Some of Clark’s fans have been seen showing up to games in Golden State and Atlanta, rocking her No. 22 jersey.
It’s not that rare of an occurrence, as you’ll often see fans wearing jerseys or hats of different teams at sporting events, but given that Angel Reese is playing in the WNBA Finals, Clark’s fans are getting called out for “pathetic” behavior.
“Caitlin Clark fans are so pathetic why would y’all wear this to a finals game that Clark is not playing in,” one fan asked on X.

Reese, who entered the WNBA the same year as Clark, has led the Dream to the WNBA Finals. They are two wins away from a championship.
Yahoo! Sports’ Dan Wolken tweeted: “The haters just have no idea what to do with Angel Reese right now. An utterly dominant, winning level of play in the WNBA finals.”
Reese has been extra motivated during the WNBA Finals
Reese had a dominant performance in Game 3 on Wednesday night.
“Y’all not taking this from us, and that’s in my heart,” Reese said postgame. “Like, I’m not letting you take this from us. I think [that confidence] becomes contagious within the team. They feel that confidence too.”
Reese finished Game 3 with 21 points and 12 rebounds, making her the youngest player in Finals history to record three straight double-doubles.
“I knew it was coming, especially back home,” Reese said. “It feels good to be home on your own court and you’ve seen the basket that you shoot on every single day. … Everybody contributed from top to bottom.
“And when you shoot 49%, I mean, you win games.”
Game 4 of the 2026 WNBA Finals is set for Saturday afternoon.
