Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark maintains a strong friendship with her college teammates, including Kate Martin. They still spend time together and comment on social media posts, poking fun at each other, as they did on Thursday.
The Los Angeles Sparks guard posted a video on Instagram, promoting IcyHot Night Time Recovery Roll-On. Martin showed her night routine before the following day's game. It consisted of washing her face, using a massage gun, lighting a candle, and using pneumatic compression.
The former Iowa Hawkeyes guard also talked about how she uses the product to soothe her muscles and joints. Clark trolled her in the comments section, saying that she initially thought she would apply the roll-on to her face.
"Thought u were gonna put icy hot on ur face. Was about to need to have a chat w you," Clark wrote.
Clark and Martin played together for four years for the Hawkeyes. They helped lead the program to consecutive NCAA championship game appearances before both entering the WNBA in 2024. The Fever selected Clark at No. 1, while the Las Vegas Aces took Martin 18th overall in the second round.
The 6-foot guard has since bounced around the league, already playing for her third team. The Sparks signed Martin to a player development contract in May, then converted it to a standard deal on Monday.
Clark, on the other hand, has earned an All-Star selection for the third time in her career. She has established herself as the most popular WNBA player today and has helped the league grow exponentially.
