Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever survived a fiery comeback from the Chicago Sky to secure a 114-106 overtime victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday night.
After leading by as many as 19 points during the game, the Fever found themselves trailing 79-73 entering the fourth quarter. Indiana nearly won it in regulation, as they were ahead 98-95 with seven seconds left on the clock.
Unfortunately, a Kelsey Mitchell turnover allowed the Sky to have one final shot at tying the game, which they did with a Skylar Diggins triple.
The Fever dominated in overtime, though, with Boston alone scoring eight points to lead Indiana to its second straight win.
Boston led all scorers with 34 points on top of 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Meanwhile, Clark was equally sensational with 32 points and 10 assists, along with seven boards.

Making the win even more remarkable, Clark and Boston made history with their production against the Sky. As Alexa Philippou of ESPN noted, it was the first time in WNBA history that a pair of teammates recorded a 30-point double-double in the same game.
"In the Fever's OT win over the Sky, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston became the first pair of teammates in WNBA history to each have a 30-point double-double in the same game," Philippou wrote.
While it was far from the ideal game for the Fever, especially with their penchant for blowing leads becoming a recurring issue, Clark and Boston's performances certainly provide optimism about the team's potential.
Indiana improved to 7-5 on the season with the win, keeping the team in the top six in the WNBA standings.
