Caitlin Clark’s love in Middle America will likely continue after she revealed her hottest food take.
Caviar, the expensive delicacy loved by the rich, is overrated, according to the WNBA star. “It’s not good,” she admitted.
The third-year WNBA star revealed that she’s also not a fan of another rich-man’s food, truffles. Clark will enjoy a truffle dish or two, but she finds that restaurants will often overuse it, especially in Italian settings.
Clark was one of many Indiana Fever players to outline their hottest food takes in a video shared by the team.
Sophie Cunningham, for instance, is not the biggest fan of birthday cake.
Indiana Fever looking to settle in before the playoffs
“To what extent do you feel like you’re still kind of tinkering with your reserves and rotation to figure out for the postseason what will be perfect for you guys?” a reporter asked head coach Stephanie White earlier this week.
White responded: “Yeah, I don’t know if you ever find out what’s perfect. You know.”
“I think we needed some defensive help in that ballgame, and so we were searching a little bit. It feels a little bit… that game felt a little bit like early in the year with such a long break and you know, trying to figure out, you know, what group could give us the best opportunity in those moments.”
“But, you know, typically this time of year it shortens. But we also have to find out, you know, what it’s going to look like for us in the playoffs. What’s it going to look like when we need to get stops – if we’re not getting it done on the defensive end of the floor? What’s it going to look like in certain situations in a game where we need more spacing on the floor? Can we be able to play multiple possessions before we can get somebody else back in? So I think there are some of those things that will happen in the next few games as we head into the playoffs.”
The Fever are 28-15 on the season, following Tuesday night’s win over the Minnesota Lynx.
