After days of silence, Bryson DeChambeau has finally opened up about LIV Golf's uncertain future.

It was confirmed last week that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund wouldn't fund LIV Golf after the 2026 season. This decision was apparently made "in light of PIF’s investment priorities and current macro dynamics."

The LIV Golf Board has already said it'll consider "strategic alternatives" for the 2027 season and beyond.

DeChambeau addressed LIV Golf's future this Tuesday. He said he was "completely shocked" by the PIF's decision because he expected the tour to be funded through the 2032 season.

So what's next for DeChambeau? The two-time U.S. Open champion claims he'll focus on his YouTube channel.

"I think, from my perspective, I'd love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more," DeChambeau said. "I would love to. I'd love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. And then I'd love to play tournaments that want me."

Would Bryson return to the PGA?

DeChambeau's contract with LIV Golf expires after this season. While fans would love to see him return to the PGA, he's not exactly ready to back down from a potential feud.

"There's a few different models," DeChambeau said. "Look, the [PGA Tour] isn't doing great either. Let's be honest about the situation. They've got the media. They've got everybody on the side that helps pump it up. But they're reducing field sizes, cutting employees and restructuring their business too."

The PGA Tour would most likely dish out some form of punishment to DeChambeau if he were to return. At least that's what he's expecting at the moment.
