In addition to Dillon Gabriel, who started six games last season, CBS Sports' Pete Prisco suggests that the Browns may draft Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson, which could further intensify the competition.

"Are they sold on the guys they have?" Prisco wrote. "That's debatable, especially with a new coach. Simpson would be an interesting pick for the Browns."
Simpson’s potential fit in Cleveland would revolve around competition and long-term upside rather than immediate expectations.
