Will the Cleveland Browns trade Shedeur Sanders ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline?
Sanders appeared in eight games for the Browns last season, completing 56.6% of his passes for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The 144th overall pick competed for the starting job in training camp, but Deshaun Watson won the No. 1 spot on Todd Monken’s depth chart.
Earlier this week, Sanders hired Adie von Gontard of Young Money APAA Sports as his agent. That news turned plenty of heads simply because the former Colorado star came into the NFL without an agent.

Some fans are convinced Sanders’ agent will orchestrate a mid-season trade. Jonathan Jones of The Athletic, however, doesn’t expect a deal to get done anytime soon.
“If Sanders is seeking a trade, that might be difficult. Berry is said to have a great affection for Sanders, whom he took a chance on 18 months ago while the rest of the NFL passed over him several times. Sanders was one of the worst starting quarterbacks last season, by several metrics, among qualified passers, but he showed growth in the preseason and training camp,” Jones wrote.
“There is belief in Sanders and his ability. He’s also on a fifth-round rookie contract for another two-plus years. Berry’s current starting quarterback is not under contract beyond this season and has a history of injuries. Blanket caveat that anything can happen over the next few weeks, but the Browns dealing Sanders by the deadline would be a stunner.”
Fans want to see Shedeur in Philly.
It was announced on Thursday that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss this weekend’s game against the Carolina Panthers due to to a superficial blood clot.
Although a deal isn’t imminent at this time, Eagles fans wouldn’t mind seeing Howie Roseman pull off a trade for Sanders.
“Eagles go get Shedeur Sanders,” one fan wrote on X.
“My Shedeur Sanders to the Eagles narrative that I been running with for the last 3 years looking good so far,” another fan commented.
Maybe the Browns will soften their stance on trading Sanders. For now though, he’s tied down to Cleveland.
