It was a very happy return to the football field for Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes last night as he led his team to an absolute steamrolling of the Denver Broncos. His wife Brittany was also in a celebratory mood after the game.
Prior to the game, the cast of ESPN’s Sunday Night Countdown were nearly unanimous in picking the Broncos to take down the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
So after the Chiefs won that game decisively – ending a three-game losing streak to their division rivals in the process – Brittany Mahomes couldn’t help but go on social media and rub it in everyone’s face.
“Oopsies,” she wrote in the caption to an image of Mike Greenberg, Dominique Foxworth, Tedy Buschi and Rex Ryan all picking Denver.

A Hot Start for the Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes and company combined for nearly 400 yards of offense while the defense gave up less than half that amount and only 10 points in a 31-10 win.
The offense was so efficient that Mahomes didn’t even need to throw for more than 200 yards since newly-acquired Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker ran all over the Broncos.

The Chiefs now start the season 1-0 and looking like an even more balanced version of the team that has dominated the league for the better part of the last decade.
Assuming Monday wasn’t just a mirage and the Broncos aren’t a bad team that everyone is going to steamroll this year, Kansas City could be one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL.
