Brittany Mahomes isn’t going to apologize for supporting her husband.
The Kansas City Chiefs took down the Miami Dolphins, 24-10, in Week 3 on Sunday afternoon. Kansas City improved to an impressive 3-0 on the season, after missing the playoffs last year. But Sunday afternoon’s win was not without some controversy.
A highly-questionable roughing the passer penalty helped sustain a Chiefs drive, as NFL fans and former players criticized the league for this kind of call.
“Not sure what else the defender can do to avoid the Roughing call other than not trying to make the play,” former NFL star Richard Sherman shared on X.
“I think there’s a pretty strong argument that roughing the passer, as it’s currently interpreted and called, is the dumbest rule in sports,” Andy Bailey added.
But as NFL fans grow tired of the Chiefs and the alleged “preferential treatment” they’re given by the referees, Brittany Mahomes is taunting the critics, openly celebrating the victory on social media.
Brittany Mahomes is very happy with the Week 3 win
The Chiefs improved to 3-0 on the year and Mrs. Mahomes is very happy. She shouted out Chiefs Kingdom for invading Miami’s stadium on Sunday.
“Man do I love seeing #ChiefsKingdom show up always!” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Brittany Mahomes has been very happy with her husband’s team’s play, regardless of the critics online.
“That game was 😮💨 & the girls were 😮💨 The best weekend 🤍🫶🏼,” she wrote last week on Instagram.
Last week, Brittany Mahomes got so into the game, she had to apologize for her language used inside the stadium.
“Sorry you had to hear me scream and say a lot of bad words for several hours,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, is very encouraged by what he’s seeing from the offense this year.
“We’re running the ball so well that defenses have to change how they play against us,” Mahomes said postgame, per ESPN. “We have to continue to do that, continue to run the ball and play-action off of that and keep defenses honest.”
The 3-0 Chiefs will take on the 3-0 Raiders in Week 4.
