Cunningham's now-viral finger-pointing meme continues to grow in popularity all over social media, as Fever guard continues to push the narrative.
Cunningham shared several photos of herself during their recent WNBA games, including multiple snaps of her viral gesture.
The eighth-year player out of Missouri captioned her post with five simple emojis.
“👉🏼👆🏼👇🏼👈🏼,” she wrote, once again alluding to the meme.
Fans and celebrities alike found this incredibly amusing. This included Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
She had a two-word reaction to Cunningham's latest Instagram update.
“This post🤣👏🏼🔥” the former professional soccer player wrote.
Cunningham gave birth to this meme during their game against the Phoenix Mercury on June 22. She savagely pointed a finger at Mercury player DeWanna Bonner during a heated exchange.
This lasted 22 seconds, and even though she was issued a technical foul, it became a memorable moment for her.
Indiana also won that game against Phoenix, 86-77. While Cunningham finished with only two points and six rebounds in that game, she starred in one of the most unforgettable moments of the season.
The Fever and Bonner had a rough history together, which makes the meme even more hilarious. Bonner suited up for Indiana for just nine games last season before she requested a trade away from the team.
Cunningham publicly criticized Bonner for this ugly exit, creating animosity between the two.
Brittany Mahomes, on the other hand, has been busy raising her three kids with the Chiefs star, apart from being an entrepreneur, model and endorser. She is also supporting her husband, who is working hard rehabbing his season-ending knee injury. Patrick Mahomes is expected to be ready for the start of the new NFL season in September.
