Brittany Mahomes is making the most of the NFL offseason with her husband, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, and kids. The family recently spent time at Universal Kids Resort, and they posted photos of themselves on Instagram.
The snaps showed the Mahomes’ posing at the entrance of the resort in Frisco, Texas. They positioned themselves inside and around a massive 3D sign that spells out the word "KIDS." The background featured a building with a colorful grid pattern of blue, pink, orange, yellow and green squares with circular windows.
"Kidcation energy turned UP! The @patrickmahomes @brittanylynne family is making memories ahead of opening! 🌟❤️" Universal Kids Resort posted.
Brittany dropped a four-word reaction in the comments section, expressing how much they enjoyed the experience.
"Had the BEST time!" Brittany commented.
She also posted some of her favorite snaps on her own Instagram page.
The resort will officially open to the public on Wednesday. Universal designed its first theme park for families with young children, primarily targeting kids ages 3 to 8. One-day general admission tickets start at $54.99, while children ages two and under get in for free.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes continues to recover from his ACL surgery in December. He is working his back to full strength and expected to return to action in Week 1, with his sights set on leading the Kansas Chiefs back to Super Bowl contention.
The Chiefs will reconvene on July 29 to begin their training camp, with the star quarterback likely participating but not full-time.
