Brittany Mahomes was letting the expletives fly during Kansas City’s overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.
The Chiefs topped the Colts, 33-30, in overtime in Week 2. Kansas City improved to 2-0 on the season with the win. It was a tightly-played game, and one that Brittany Mahomes got quite emotional over.
The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback admitted that she was heard saying “a lot of bad words” throughout her husband’s second regular season game of the 2026 season. She posted an apology on social media.
“Sorry you had to hear me scream and say a lot of bad words for several hours,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

NFL games can be emotional, so fans will likely be accepting of this apology from Mrs. Mahomes.
We’ve all been there watching our favorite NFL team, right?
Patrick Mahomes warns teammates not to get complacent
While the Chiefs have started 2-0, there’s still a long way to go this fall.
“I think more than anything [about] who we’re playing is just staying hungry,” Mahomes said this week, via transcript from the team. “In this league, it’s week to week. One week they’re patting you on your back, and one week they’re telling you you’re terrible. I think all offseason we heard about how bad we were, and guys were super hungry and came in with that mentality, and I think that’s why we’ve had the success that we’ve had these first two weeks. And it’s like, how can you keep that hunger? Now everybody’s saying we’re amazing and that we’re great, and it’s like we’ve got to keep the hunger that we’ve had this entire offseason.
“So that’s what we’re preaching, is like we’re nowhere near where we want to be at. We’re still so early in the season, and there’s still so much for us to learn from and so much for us to get better at, and we have to have that mentality week in and week out if we want to go out there and have success.”
Kansas City will take on Miami on Sunday.
