Two iconic American athletes, Charles Barkley and Brett Favre, do not agree on the Super Bowl 60 halftime show.

Bad Bunny will be performing at halftime on Sunday night. The Puerto Rican artist was chosen by the league back in September. Bad Bunny will be headlining the show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. It should be a fun one.

"What I'm feeling goes beyond myself," Bad Bunny said in a statement. "It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown... this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."

But not everyone will be watching.

Legendary NFL quarterback Brett Favre announced that he'll be watching the Turning Point USA halftime show, led by Kid Rock, instead.

"Not familiar with Bad Bunny so don’t know if his music is good or bad. I’m just going to watch what I know Lee Brice, Kid Rock All-American Halftime Show," Favre announced on Sunday morning.

Charles Barkley does not agree

Barkley, known for always being honest, sounded off on those boycotting the Bad Bunny performance.

"There are a lot of ignorant people talking about Bad Bunny. First of all, I admire Bad Bunny. He’s performing at the Super Bowl and I hear all these right-wing nut jobs talking about, ‘He’s not American.' First of all, he’s from Puerto Rico, fools. That’s part of the United States of America you freakin’ idiots," Barkley said, via Awful Announcing.

"He didn’t say anything bad about the United States. What he said was, ‘For the time being, I’m not going to perform in the United States because I don’t want my fans coming to see my in concert, making a lot of money and go outside and get arrested by ICE.’ If you don’t think that’s honorable, there’s something wrong with you. He didn’t say anything bad about the United States."

Turning Point USA, meanwhile, is excited for their show.

“The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said. “We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game. These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

Kickoff at Super Bowl 60 is set for 6 p.m. E.T. on NBC.
