Are the Boston Celtics definitely trading away Jaylen Brown this offseason? Brad Stevens, the team's president of basketball operations, was asked about the All-Star's future on Tuesday night.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Celtics offered Brown and two first-round picks to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Even though the Celtics didn't win the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes, the fact that Brown was on the table means a divorce is possible this offseason.

With that being said, Stevens is unwilling to declare that Brown will be on Boston's roster for the 2026-27 season.

"Jaylen Brown is a big part of us. I'm never going to predict the future. Every indication, everything that I think about over the past few years has been building around those guys, right? Obviously, you never know. But at the same time, I think the one thing that I want to make very clear is how valued he's always been," Stevens said, via Boston Celtics on SI.

"He's been amazing. He's been an amazing teammate. Great person to be around. Whether that run ends 10 years from now when he retires or before, there's a lot to celebrate. We have a great relationship and an open relationship where we talk about everything. But I don't want to predict the future. I look at it as this is our team."

Where could Jaylen Brown end up?

According to Kurt Helin of NBC Sports, the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets could emerge as trade suitors for Brown.

"If Brown becomes available, look for Houston and Atlanta to be at the front of the line for him, with a number of other teams — Portland has said it’s interested — in the mix," Helin wrote. "The challenge will be matching his salary, which is $57.1 million next season and totals about $183 million over the next three years."

Brown is coming off the best season of his career (28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game), so there's no question Boston's asking price should be high.
