Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills lost to Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, 33-30. Allen threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 66 yards, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the AFC-best Denver squad.
The Bills quarterback was sacked three times and intercepted twice, with the most crucial turnover being his overtime throw to wide receiver Brandin Cooks that was snatched away by Denver defensive back Ja’Quan McMillian.
Nix, meanwhile, recorded 279 yards and three touchdowns against just one interception. He also led the team in rushing with 12 carries for 29 yards.

Despite the Broncos taking down the Bills, Nix showed great respect for Allen. After the game, the 2024 NFL MVP shared a postgame moment with his Broncos counterpart and exchanged pleasantries, which the NFL revealed in a video posted on Wednesday.
As they hugged each other, Nix can be heard telling Allen, "I respect you a lot, bro. Tough dude. You're the best in the league."
Allen appreciated Nix's kind words and simply thanked him before they parted ways.
It's worth noting that Nix actually suffered an injury during the game against the Bills. He reportedly broke a bone in his right ankle in the penultimate play of the game, ruling him out for the rest of the season.
That means during his postgame interaction with Allen, Nix was already dealing with the injury.
Nix has since undergone surgery. He released a statement on Wednesday highlighting his disappointment regarding the setback. However, Nix also expressed his confidence in the Broncos and their ability to win.
