The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era.
But while Brady and Belichick combined to win six Super Bowls in New England, neither appear to be rooting hard for the Patriots on Sunday. Brady, who finished his career in Tampa Bay, has made that clear.
"Look, I don't have a dog in the fight in this one. May the best team win. And in terms of the Patriots, this is a new chapter in New England. And I'm glad everyone has embraced the Mike Vrabel regime, all the amazing players that have worked so hard to get their club to this position. We did it for 20 years. There was a little bit of a hiatus in there, but the Patriots are back and it's a very exciting time for everyone in New England," Brady said before Super Bowl 60.
Belichick hasn't publicly commented, but his actions at the UNC vs. Duke game on Saturday night spoke large.

Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, wore a T-shirt mocking the legal troubles of Patriots owner Robert Kraft at Saturday night's game.
"Hudson stepped out wearing a T-shirt from Orchids of Asia Day Spa, the Florida massage parlor tied to Robert Kraft's 2019 prostitution bust, in what appeared to be a clear dig at the New England Patriots owner and she did it while standing right next to her boyfriend, Bill Belichick," TMZ Sports reported.
But while it was Hudson wearing the T-shirt, Belichick is taking heat for "childish" behavior.

While it was Hudson wearing the shirt, Belichick had to at least sign off on it, right? Or, at least, he could have shot it down.
Fans are not happy with his behavior as of late.
"This (expletive) me off. Not today. Read the room," Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy wrote.
"Embarrassing look when you consider UNC administration already had to step in so the school’s football account could post Drake Maye/Patriots content," one fan added.
"Past sad, heading toward pathetic and desperate," one fan added.
"Obsessed with attention, whether she’ll admit it or not," one fan added.
"Childish," one fan added.
The Patriots, meanwhile, are competing in the Super Bowl, on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. E.T. It'll air on NBC.
