Big E is officially a married man after tying the knot with Kris Yim, the sister of WWE star Mia Yim. The former WWE Champion and his longtime partner got married on Wednesday, October 21, with several familiar faces from the wrestling world joining them for the celebration.
A clip shared on social media on October 22 showed the couple celebrating as their wedding ceremony came to an end. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were among those in attendance, with footage showing them watching the newlyweds during the special moment.

The wedding comes more than a year after Big E announced his engagement to Kris in May 2025. He shared photographs from the proposal on social media and expressed his excitement about their future together, writing, “I can’t wait to be your husband, @krisyim. Thank you, @lastsuppersociety, for making this day perfect.”
Big E had arranged a memorable proposal, surprising Kris with photographs of their relationship and a framed letter displayed in an art gallery. The occasion continued with a candlelit rooftop dinner featuring a custom nine-course meal, with each course representing a milestone in their relationship.
The couple has now taken the next step after making their relationship public in 2024. While Big E has largely kept his personal life away from the spotlight, his engagement gave fans a glimpse into their journey together. Their wedding marks a new chapter for the former New Day member, who remains connected to WWE despite stepping away from in-ring competition.
Who Is Kris Yim, Big E’s Wife?
Kris Yim is the sister of WWE SmackDown Superstar Mia Yim, who is also known as Michin in WWE. Although Kris is not a professional wrestler, her connection to Michin and now Big E has brought her into the wider wrestling family.
Kris and Big E, whose real name is Ettore Ewen, began dating in April 2024 and made their relationship public later that year. They announced their engagement on May 5, 2025, before getting married on October 21, 2026.
Big E has described Kris as the person he looks forward to building his future with, and his engagement post reflected how eager he was to marry her. Their wedding brings that chapter of their relationship to fruition.
Professionally, Big E has not competed in a match since suffering a broken neck during a March 2022 episode of SmackDown. He announced in October 2025 that he was retiring from in-ring competition, but continues to contribute to WWE in other roles, including as an analyst and on-screen personality.
As Big E continues his career outside the ring, he and Kris begin married life together, surrounded by the support of their loved ones.
