The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings meet in Week 3 with several player props worth targeting. Chris Godwin has been a steady option for Tampa Bay through two games, while Aaron Jones faces a difficult matchup against a strong Buccaneers run defense. Baker Mayfield also brings some rushing upside against Minnesota’s aggressive defense after making plays with his legs in each of his first two games. This matchup gives us several interesting betting angles to attack.
There’s a natural crossover between fantasy football and NFL player prop bets. If you haven’t participated in sports betting but love fantasy sports, this is as good a place as any to begin. You can wager as little as pennies just to get your feet wet. Aside from the thrill of winning real money, it’s a fun way to test your knowledge and prognostication skills.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin 36+ Receiving Yards (-112)
Godwin has been steady through two games, finishing with 40 and 46 receiving yards while catching all seven of his targets. That consistency is nothing new, as Godwin has topped 35 receiving yards in 101 of 129 career games. Tampa Bay has plenty of options in the passing game, but Godwin remains a reliable target for Baker Mayfield and should continue seeing enough opportunities against Minnesota.
Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones Under 51.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
Jones took plenty of punishment while handling a heavy workload in difficult conditions against Chicago last week. Minnesota could work its other backs into the rotation more against Tampa Bay to keep Jones fresh. The matchup also presents a challenge, with the Buccaneers allowing just 75 rushing yards per game through two weeks, fourth fewest in the NFL. With a tougher matchup and potential for fewer carries, Jones could have a quieter afternoon.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield 20+ Rushing Yards (+126)
Mayfield has rushed nine times for 59 yards through two games, finishing with 30 yards in Week 1 and 29 in Week 2. Minnesota’s aggressive blitz-heavy defense could force Mayfield out of the pocket more often, creating additional scrambling opportunities. He has already shown a willingness to take off when plays break down, including a rushing touchdown this season, while the Vikings are allowing 100 rushing yards per game.

I put together an SGP that’s worth putting a few bucks on for a good payday.
