Bad Bunny took center stage on Sunday night for the highly anticipated Super Bowl 60 halftime show. There was a lot of anticipation ahead of the multi-Grammy Award-winning artist’s performance, and it’s now safe to say that Bad Bunny lived up to the hype.

The first reviews on social media have poured in, and the feedback has generally been positive. Fans raved about Bad Bunny owning the stage with his energy and showmanship. He also brought out Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin as his special guests. Viewers also loved the production as Bad Bunny beautifully shared Puerto Rican culture through his performance.

Another element from the show that stood out, however, was his backup dancers.

Bad Bunny has been around for many years now. While this was his first time on the Super Bowl stage, the 31-year-old has performed countless times in front of live audiences across the world.

One of the stand-out elements of his on-stage performances is his backup dancers. It was no different at the Super Bowl halftime show. So much so that the backup dancers nearly stole the spotlight from Bad Bunny on social media.

“You know what, Bad Bunny got the baddest backup dancers I’ve seen in a #SuperBowl halftime show in a long time. I have no idea what he’s saying, but a win is a win,” a reaction on X read.

“every dancer on Bad Bunny’s set looks like a member of Katseye forreal,” another said.

“Good lord…That choreography with all the dancers was incredible…Bad Bunny’s backup dancers may have been better than Beyonce’s. Yet again Prince remains undefeated. But I did enjoy that love letter to Puerto Ricon’s/Puerto Rico’s culture,” a user wrote.

“I’m a huge fan of Bad Bunny backup dancers,” declared another.

“Anyone know where bad bunny’s backup dancers are partying after the game? Asking for a friend,” a post read.

Last year’s Super Bowl halftime performer was Kendrick Lamar, and the rapper delivered one of the most memorable performances ever. At this point, fans are already comparing Bad Bunny’s performance to that of Lamar.

Some have even gone as far as saying that this one has to be ranked as one of the best performances all time, and a lot of credit has to go to Bad Bunny’s backup dancers.
