Bad Bunny played into the football theme at the NFL's Super Bowl 60 halftime show on Sunday evening.
The Puerto Rican rapper and singer rocked a No. 64 football jersey and held onto a football for much of his performance on Sunday evening. Bad Bunny, fresh off a win at The Grammys, is being praised for his performance by many.
"The way that entire show was about celebration and hope and love and community and joy and collaboration I’m just… that was the most beautiful thing and I think it healed something in this broken country. 🥹🥹🥹 thank you Bad Bunny ❤️🐰," one NFL fan wrote.
Bad Bunny had a special reason for wearing No. 64, too.

Bad Bunny wore No. 64 to honor a family member.
"Bad Bunny paid homage to his uncle who played football by wearing his #64. And thanks to his desire to use an old NFL ball that had white stripes, I learned from @ProFootballHOF that when the white ball was banned in ‘56, a ball w/ stripes was used for night games until ‘76," the NFL announced.

While many were fans of Bad Bunny's performance, President Trump was not.
"The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule," he wrote on Truth Social.
