In an ongoing Goldin online auction, a signed 1932 US Caramel Babe Ruth card has fetched $575,000 from 21 bidders. Likewise, in the same auction, a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 3.5 card is at $190,000. There’s also a 1951 Bowman Willie Mays PSA 8 rookie card with a $132,000 price tag.
If that’s the going rate for their individual cards, imagine the value of a collectible bearing their signatures. Leaf will include this unique card in its upcoming Spectacular Baseball set.
The Babe Ruth-Mickey Mantle-Willie Mays card will be part of the collection’s Museum Cuts insert. In addition to their autographs, the tri-fold card includes patches connected to these three baseball immortals.
To this day, baseball circles still discuss those three legends. Therefore, the bidding war to acquire this card could be intense. The Museum Cuts insert will be one of the additions to this trading card set.
Other inserts in the 2026 Leaf Spectacular Baseball Collection
In addition to Museum Cuts, Leaf also added the Signature Tag Team insert, which combines autographs with tags from game-used jerseys. Leaf will also debut the Spectacular Spikes, which feature large pieces from the bottom of game-used baseball cleats.
In honor of America’s birthday, look for Spirit of ’76 Signatures and Memorabilia featuring baseball stars and memorabilia connected to the historic 1976 season.
The 2026 Leaf Spectacular Baseball trading card set will be out on November 27 and is now available for pre-order. As mentioned on their website, each case contains three boxes. Meanwhile, each box has base cards and six premium collectibles.
