The Jordan 5s are one of the best and classic Jordans to date. The colorways are always on point, the Fire Reds, Raging Bull, the classic Oreo 5s, the Grapes, the list goes on, the 5s are on the Mount Rushmore of sneakers. Last year the Metallic 5s took the world by storm as they were seen everywhere and had fans looking for them months after they released. The Metallics even ended up as a close winner in Complex's Sneaker of the Year bracket.
One pair of 5s that flew under the radar were a collab sneaker. Most collabs Jordan makes is never a miss, we see that with most of the Travis Scott x Jordan models. This time around AWAKE NY x Jordan came together and cooked up a Jordan 5, and these are honestly one of my favorite pickups I ever grabbed.

Who is AWAKE NY?
I had the same question when I first heard about the collab happening with Jordan Brand. I was under the impression that the collab was something that no one was going to know about, no disrespect but I wasn't hip on AWAKE, but I am now.
AWAKE NY is a contemporary streetwear label based out of New York founded in 2012 by Angelo Bauqe. The brand gets its inspiration from the New York streetwear and culture while it also brings 90s retro and modern style aesthetics together. AWAKE also did a collab on a the 'Arctic Pink' 5s as well as a Midnight Navy retro 6 colorway.
Where to Buy the AWAKE NY x Jordan 5 'Racer Blue'
The hype with the shoe speaks as resell prices aren't cheap. GOAT and StockX have them for around $340-$550. With a big collab like this it is expected for these to be high in price, also it being a Jordan 5 will spike the final price as well. Hopefully we see more of AWAKE with Jordan as they haven't missed any collabs yet.
