Today, Austria will play their final game at home before traveling to the United States for the 2026 World Cup. Austria will host Tunisia at the Ernst-Happel Stadion in Wien, Austria.
Both Austria and Tunisia qualified for the World Cup from their respective qualifiers. Austra qualified through their World Cup qualifier group in Europe by finishing first, and Tunisia finished first in their World Cup qualifier group in Africa.
Both nations played friendly matches in the March international break, and neither lost.
Austria comes from beating Ghana 5-1 and beating South Korea 1-0. In the win over Ghana, Marcel Sabitzer, Michael Gregoritsch, Stefan Posch, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Nicolas Seiwald were the goal scorers. Marcel Sabitzer scored the only goal against South Korea.
Tunisia played against Haiti and Canada, with the African team beating Haiti 1-0 and drawing 0-0 with Canada.
