Australian women are under fire for "inappropriate" swimsuit wear on public transportation.

Last summer, Australian beaches called out women for wearing "inappropriate" swimsuits, taking issue with the G-string bikinis. Some were not happy with the revealing swimsuits being worn at public pools and on public beaches.

The Blue Mountains Leisure Centres (BMLC), part of the Blue Mountains City Council, called out the particular swimsuits.

"Much of [the confusion] focused on a poster showing the kind of swimwear that is and isn’t appropriate. It’s important to remember that these images are indicative only," the post read.

"In particular, the image of ‘revealing swimwear/thongs’ has raised some eyebrows. This image refers to thongs and G-strings – not bikini tops and bottoms."

But now, the battle is back.

Some in Australia are complaining about women wearing swimsuits on public transportation, like buses.

Signs for the complementary bus, the "Hop, Skip and Jump" have reportedly been put up that warn, "Please dress appropriately. Clothing must be worn over swimwear."

Australian women have been warned to change their swimsuits if they are "likely to dirty or damage the vehicle, or cause inconvenience or damage to other passengers or the driver."

Candy Bingham, the deputy mayor of the Northern Beaches council, told the Daily Telegraph that some revealing swimsuits are triggering for those on the buses.

"The girls get on and all they have on is their bikinis. People are worried about the hygiene aspect when they sit on the seats … swimmers, wet from the beach and covered in sand, make a mess and leave the seats damp."

It's currently summer down under...and there's a lot of drama, apparently.
