The Atlanta Dream will host Game 3 of the WNBA Finals on Wednesday at State Farm Arena. They tied the series 1-1 after defeating the Golden State Valkyries, 79-65, at Chase Center on Monday.
The team is now asking fans for support via an Instagram post on Tuesday, requesting them to buy finals merch on its website.
The post featured the T-shirts supporters can purchase. The Dream included the link in their bio. One of them has “ATL ALL THE WAY” printed on the front, while the other reads “ALL FOR ATLANTA.”
“Dreamers, be a part of the historic championship run! Make sure to grab your finals merch ahead of our home games,” the team wrote.
State Farm Arena will host the city’s first WNBA Finals game since 2013. Atlanta stole home-court advantage with a Game 2 win as Angel Reese delivered one of her best performances of the season.
The WNBA Defensive Player of the Year finished with 30 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks. She shot 10-of-16 from the field and 9-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Allisha Gray contributed 18 points and five rebounds, while Jordin Canada added 13 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists.
The No. 4-seeded Dream exhibited their resilience with a huge bounce-back victory. The Dream suffered their first postseason loss of the year in Game 1 but quickly moved on. They now have a chance to win Games 3 and 4 with their home fans behind them.
Game 3 on Wednesday night tips off at 8:00 p.m. ET.
