Shooting guard Adan Diggs, out of Peoria, Arizona, is garnering interest from a handful of the top programs in college basketball. He's already received offers from the Arizona Wildcats, UCLA Bruins, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils.
The interest doesn't come as a major surprise. At 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, he is a five-star recruit, the No. 1 shooting guard and the No. 2 player in the nation, according to Rivals Industry Rankings.
Last season at Millennium High School, he was named the MaxPreps Sophomore Basketball Player of the Year. He averaged 22.5 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals per game.

With interest continuing to grow, some teams are making more of an impression than others. That includes Arizona, with the Wildcats pitching him as a future centerpiece of the program.
"Just the situation I would be put in," Diggs said. You know, just them talking to me. They’re telling me I would come, fill in like the Brayden Burries role, being like their star. Like more of a combo guard and coming in, changing games and being the game changer. That was really eye opening when they presented that to me. They told me, they’re going to put their trust in me and let me do what I got to do.”
Burries' career with the Wildcats is certainly something worth striving for. He spent just one year with the team, averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game before being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the No. 10 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Diggs has shown mutual interest in Arizona. He's already made his way to Tucson twice for unofficial visits with the Wildcats. The most recent came on June 18, with another occurring on Feb. 5.
As one of the top players in the 2027 cycle, the battle for his commitment will only intensify. As Arizona continues to make its case, the Wildcats will look to separate themselves from everyone else.
