Argentina will be playing against Mauritania in Argentina to prepare for the 2026 World Cup. Argentina will be playing their fourth friendly match following the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers last year.
Argentina was initially set to play Spain this month in the 2026 Finalissima, but the match was cancelled.
Their first game is tonight against Mauritania at the Estadio Alberto Jose Armando, or better known as La Bombonera.
Lionel Scaloni, Argentina's head coach, will play a somewhat rotated sqaud against Mauritania tonight, with Lionel Messi expected to start on the bench.
The Argentina national team returns to Argentina to play another match following the World Cup qualifiers in South America, and their last game in Argentina was against Venezuela, where they won 3-0 at the Estadio Más Monumental.
