An anonymous NFL player is getting roasted for what he said about Bad Bunny and his Super Bowl 60 halftime show.
Bad Bunny is set to perform at Super Bowl 60 on Sunday. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer is one of the most popular artists in the world. Bad Bunny consistently ranks near the top of the streaming charts, with Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen.
But not everyone is a fan.
One anonymous NFL player, speaking to The Athletic, ripped the league's choice, suggesting that it was a mistake.

“I don’t even know who Bad Bunny is,” the anonymous player said, per The Athletic. “I always think it should be an American. I think they’re trying too hard with this International stuff.”
Of course, Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico, which is part of the United States. He is, in fact, an American.
NFL fans are ripping the player for his comment
"I've always said the halftime show and the high dollar commercials are geared towards the casual or non-football fans. There are only two teams in the Super Bowl, so fans of the other 30 teams and non-diehard fans need a reason to watch. The pomp and circumstance are a part of that effort," one fan wrote.
"I can't say that I agree with that. The Super Bowl as well as the NFL as a whole is pushing for global exposure. With that in mind, you can't have it both ways where we want your Euros but keep your performers to yourself. Just keep the political rhetoric out of the mix," one fan added.
"Perhaps the issue is that we need to invest more in our education system so that American citizens understand that Puerto Ricans are American citizens," one fan added.
"😂😂😂😂😂 Bad Bunny is an American. So you wouldn't have had Paul McCartney?! The Rolling Stones?! At least 14 non-American artists have performed at the Super Bowl halftime show, including U2, Paul McCartney, Shania Twain, The Rolling Stones, Sting, Coldplay, The Who, Rihanna, Shakira, J. Balvin, The Weeknd and Phil Collins," one fan added.
"Just classless," one fan added.
"All I know is I never watched or not watched a football game based on the halftime performer. And this performer wont sway it either way for me. I will watch it with it on in the background as I do random other stuff as I do with nearly anything I watch on tv," another fan wrote.
Super Bowl 60 is set for Sunday night at 6 p.m. E.T.
