The WNBA is loving Angel Reese's stunning pregame outfit on Wednesday evening, August 5.
The Atlanta Dream star is rocking a stunning pink dress for her team's game against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday evening. Reese's outfit is so stunning that the WNBA's official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, is bragging about it.
"The face. The fit. The color. We're loving it ALL 🩷 Angel Reese STUNS in her arrival ahead of the @atlantadream 's home game versus the Mercury! 📺 7pm/ET | PHX-ATL | League Pass," the league boasted.
Reese, 24, is having a big year. She's averaging 16.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, while shooting 43.4 percent from the field.
The WNBA is boasting about her pregame outfits, though, at a time when some players are hoping that there would be more talk about basketball.
Sophie Cunningham encourages league's media to just focus on basketball
Cunningham, who previously made headlines for her comments on transgender athletes in women's sports, wants the focus to get back to basketball.
"I'm going to let people just do the speaking for themselves, but for me, I want to get back to basketball," Cunningham said Wednesday. "It's always been about basketball. That interview happened in [March]. I just want to make sure that the focus stays where it should because people are playing at such a high level."
"There's so much good going on in the WNBA right now," Cunningham said. "I think that basketball is being played at the highest level it's ever been."
Cunningham is tired of it.
"WNBA media, all we ever do is cover everything except basketball," Cunningham said. "And it's like what are we doing?"
Of course, like any sports league, there's always a lot to talk about. And that includes pregame outfits.
