Angel Reese continues to be a double-double machine. In the 2026 season, her first year with the Atlanta Dream, she's averaging a career-high 15.0 points, along with 11.7 rebounds per game.
With her incredible production, it's not surprising that the 24-year-old forward was voted an All-Star for the third straight year.
However, Reese recently suffered an injury. During the Dream's game against the Seattle Storm on Thursday, she had a noticeable limp when she exited the floor with 1:19 left to play.
Reese appeared to hurt her ankle after falling down under the basket seconds before her exit. After the game, Dream head coach Karl Smesko shared that he didn't know the severity of the issue and only said that the superstar was getting it evaluated, according to Wilton C. Jackson II of The IX Sports.

Is Angel Reese Playing Today?
Naturally, there are concerns about Reese's status for the Dream's showdown with the Portland Fire on Saturday afternoon.
In the latest injury report, the Dream listed Reese as "Questionable." Atlanta cited a "lower leg" injury as the reason for her designation.
A questionable status means that there's a roughly 50/50 chance that a player will suit up for a game. Considering Reese's numbers, however, her potential absence would be a huge blow to a Dream team that only recently ended a five-game losing streak.
Reese has been playing as a center for the Dream in recent games. Should she sit out Saturday's meeting against Portland, rookie Madina Okot is expected to take on a heavier workload for Atlanta.
