WNBA star Angel Reese has 24 reasons to celebrate this Wednesday.
A month ago, the Chicago Sky traded Reese to the Atlanta Dream for a pair of first-round draft picks. That decision didn't sit well with Chicago's fan base, especially since Reese is coming off a season where she averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game.
“I’m always gonna be grateful for that because I did experience a lot of great things,” Reese said. “I enjoyed being able to grow within my first two years, but I wanted more. I love to win, I love to compete and I wanted to be surrounded by people that can make me better. And I am not satisfied with what I am as a player, and I felt like being around these kinds of players would help me be better. I can help them in different ways to help them win, and that’s all I ever wanted. I don’t care about anything else that comes with it. I want to win and being able to come to an organization that really cared about their players.”
While Reese is excited to get her first regular season in Atlanta started, she's first going to celebrate her 24th birthday.

The official X account for Reese's podcast, "Unapologetically Angel," celebrated her birthday by posting a photo this Wednesday along with this caption: "Pretty, powerful, and still unapologetic."
Reese, meanwhile, posted a pair of photos on her personal account.
"24. The year of simplicity," she wrote. "Less is more."
Turning heads off the hardwood.
If we rewind back to October 2025, Reese made headlines for participating in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Several months later, she promoted the "Invisible by Victoria’s Secret Strapless Collection."
Victoria's Secret promoted its new collection by sharing photos of Reese wearing a bronze swimsuit.
"The theme is bronze, and I’m all for the bronze and the sun, and being here in Barbados, the vibe is literally perfect," Reese told Elle Magazine.
Reese is no stranger to breaking the internet because of a swimsuit photo. After all, she posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023.
“I had on thong bathing suits and I didn’t think I was going to be comfortable, but [everyone] made me feel really comfortable,” she told SI Swimsuit. “I work out a lot. I embrace my body and who I am and every mark on my body. I probably feel the sexiest in a bathing suit.”
We expect Reese to continue grow her brand - on and off the court.
