Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream had their five-game winning streak snapped on Monday, losing 109-87 to A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson, who currently leads the WNBA in scoring at 26.8 points per game, scored 23 points on an efficient 8-for-11 shooting performance from the field.
Wilson was not the main story for Las Vegas, as guard Jackie Young recorded her first triple-double of the season, finishing with game highs of 28 points and 10 assists, along with 11 rebounds. The rebounds were not a game high for Young, as Dream forward Reese finished with 16 rebounds to go along with 23 points.

The double-double was Reese's 20th of the season and the 69th of her career. This ties her with current Connecticut Sun center Brittney Griner for the all-time record in league history. The feat is impressive not only because of the height difference between the 6-foot-4 Reese and the 6-foot-9 Griner, but also because Reese accomplished the feat in 92 career games compared with 370 for Griner.
Reese and Griner also tie former Phoenix Mercury and Chicago Sky forward Candice Dupree and former Detroit Shock star Taj McWilliams-Franklin with 69 career double-doubles, tied for 16th all time. Next for Reese on the all-time leaderboard is Cheryl Ford, the daughter of former Utah Jazz great Karl "The Mailman" Malone, with 71.
Recently retired WNBA great Tina Charles sits atop the all-time leaderboard with 201 double-doubles, while four-time MVP Wilson leads all active players with 135.
